Fire Hydrant ( ATH3 )

Fire Hydrant ( ATH3 ) is Ader Tavan Nami’s Hydrant Monitor, a combined unit that merges a standard hydrant body with a mounted water monitor (nozzle) on top. Unlike the ATH1 and ATH2 models, where firefighters must connect and hold hoses manually, The Hydrant Monitor ( ATH3 ) delivers a high-volume water or foam jet directly from a fixed, adjustable nozzle that can be aimed horizontally and vertically by a single operator. This makes it suitable for locations where the fire risk is concentrated in one known area — tank farms, loading bays, and process units — and where a rapid, unattended attack stream is more valuable than hose flexibility.

WET and DRY Riser Configurations

The ATH3 is supplied in both WET and DRY riser configurations: in the wet version the barrel remains charged with water for instant discharge, while the dry version keeps the barrel empty and is fed only on demand, making it the correct choice for sites exposed to freezing conditions. Selecting the correct configuration at the design stage prevents freeze damage in cold regions and guarantees the fastest possible response time in temperate ones.

Materials and Technical Specifications

Built from C.S ST12 or Ductile Iron with an electrostatic 3-layer paint finish and sheet thickness of 4mm or more, the unit accepts 4″, 6″, or 8″ inlet connections and can be fitted with different outlet and landing valve types according to the required flow rate. A pumper connection is also provided so fire trucks can boost the supply pressure when the monitor is operating at full capacity.

Applications and Installation

Overall dimensions of the Fire Hydrant ( ATH3 ) are manufactured according to project requirements, and the unit is commonly specified for industrial and mining facilities, educational premises, roadways, and commercial parking areas where fixed monitor coverage is part of the fire protection design.
